Now it is possible to order camera drones, gimbals or accessories directly from DJI at the DJI onlinestore without VAT (value added tax). All you need is just a valid VAT-ID.
However, to do so you need to submit a special application before you place the order. You need to do that 4-5 days before you place your order at the DJI online store. If your request is approved, your account will be set to a „tax free order“ state. So all your further orders will be automatically tax-free / without VAT / no VAT.
We recommend to submit your application / request prophylactically so your account is already ready if you need to place an order.

VAT-free order / tax exemption / zero-rating VAT purchase program is possible for the following countries of the EU:

If your request is approved after some days, you will be notified via eMail. Only then you are able to place an order at the DJI webpage in the DJI Online Store without VAT. The VAT will be automatically reduced / substracted / removed on your final shopping cart / basket or will not be displayed at all (0% VAT).
Therefor (to get your request approved) you need a valid international VAT-ID. The Vat-ID needs to match your details / company address / shipping address. We assume that DJI checks these and therefore needs some days for doing the approval.
You only need to do this once – not for every single order.
Of course this is not comparable with a Discount / Coupon / Rabate. If you buy / purchase a drone as a company and for commercial purposes, you most likely will get all taxes back from the tax office / tax authority. But therefore you need a regular official invoice / commercial invoice including all TAX / VAT positions. Currently it is not so easy to get an official invoice / commercial invoice with all VAT details from DJI. So it is much easier if you can place an order without TAX / without VAT. In former times this was not possible because the order and shippment was directly done with DJI China. But now we assume that DJI uses a European location (Netherlands) to make it possible to ship and sell without VAT / taxes / VAT-free.
This seems to be possible for all current DJI products like DJI Mavic, DJI Mavic 2, Dji Mavic Air, DJI Phantom 4 (Pro / Advanced), DJI Spark or DJI accessories. Even for all Enterprise products and commercial DJI products like DJi Ronin-Series (DJI Ronin S, Ronin M,..) or the DJI Inspire Series (Dji Inspire 2 and 1) and the DJI Matrice (M100 M200 M600) platforms.
This is very useful for all companys / comercial buyers.
